INTERVIEW
❓ What is your name?
💭 My name is Manasi Mangalmurti Badgujar
❓ Which school do you study in?
💭 I study in Pawar Public School, 10th grade.
❓ What was your method of studying?
💭 I used to study for 3-4 hours daily. I knew that practice makes a man perfect so I focused on my weaker subjects like Maths and Physics , and practice the problems for those on a regular basis.
I have a short attention span so I used to work on harder parts of the portion first so that till the easier ones even if I was tired I could get back to studies with a short 10 min break.
❓ What were the difficulties you faced?
💭 The major difficulty I faced was setting up a high target , as I have always been a bit shy of voicing my ambition and thoughts. Once I came out of the shell with my family's and my teachers' support the rest was a game of patience and hard work. One of the other difficulty was not getting disheartened by less marks as they often end up as one's 'so-called' image in classes. I had my own bright and dark days when my confidence was not so high but engaging in my hobbies and meditation helped me a lot.
❓ Did someone help you? If yes, how?
💭 Yes, I have been helped by many in my success especially my teachers and my family. My confidence was ever so fluctuating but my mother, father, brother and even my maternal uncle have been a strong source of support to me during my mood swings.
I have a bad habit of neglecting my health during exam time during stress in which I was greatly helped by my mother who kept bugging me until I relented to her advice of looking after myself.
My teachers also helped me to gain confidence in myself and to not stop trying till I attained success.
❓ How much time did you give to play and study?
💭 I am much more of a player of games with teams and since there were different timing of play and study for my friends I developed reading as a stress busting habit. I gave 4 hours to study daily and half an hour for reading, half for a walk in the society and half for yoga.
❓ How did you feel when you saw your marks?
💭 I felt pleased to see my marks, as I saw that my hard work was not in vain. Also the smiling faces of my family members were a huge gift in itself.
❓ What is your advice to the other kids?
💭 My advice to all the others is to set high goals and work hard to achieve it, and even if you face failure it does not matter what matters is that you gave your best the rest will follow , if not now then later but it surely will. Also do not stop enjoying life as it is the most important thing that matters in the end.
