THE INVESTIGATION
তদন্ত Immediately after Feluda understood about the death of Torit Sengupta , he asked Mr. Roy whether it would be possible for them to go to the place Torit died . Mr.Roy thought for a while , then he agreed . After getting ready Mr. Roy and Feluda went to the place,where Torit had died. There was blood all over the place where Torit died . 
Sanyal guessed that Torit had been killed by the attack of a man-eating tiger 🐯. Then, Feluda began searching for a weapon or any tool that could have been used to kill Torit . Unfortunately, he did not find anything , two minutes later , everyone started going deep into the forest to look out for more signs of the cause death . Jatayu was extremely scared and therefore , was hiding behind Tapesh. At some distance further Tapesh saw a piece of red cloth hanging from the branch of a tree . He quickly went there and removed the cloth and took it to Feluda . On seeing the cloth Feluda understood that it was the same cloth which Torit had worn on the previous day . After two hours of unsuccessful searching , Feluda and his friends went back home ( Mr.Roy's palace) .

The next day , when Feluda got up , he heard the sound of brisk footsteps and there was a knock at the door of his bedroom . He quickly opened the door and saw Mahitosh Sinha Roy with a fright on his face . He hastily came into the bedroom and said ," Feluda the instrument used to kill Torit has been taken from our house . One sword is missing from the sword rack .!" . On hearing this Feluda sat on the diwan and thought for a while . He then asked Mr.Roy whether it would be possible to meet a police inspector in that area . Mr.Roy laughed and then took Feluda to the police station . He introduced Feluda to Inspector Biswas . Inspector Biswas happily greeted Feluda .Then he started talking to Feluda about the case . Inspector Biswas told Feluda that he too was a suspect in the case as he was also living in the house . Feluda agreed . After a short talk , Feluda and his friends went to Mr.Roy's palace . The next day , Feluda suggested they should go to the forest to find a weapon that could been used at the place to kill Torit Sengupta. They went to the forest and visited the place where Torit had died continued walking a little ahead then, Feluda saw what he was looking for , the same dagger taken from Mr. Roy's house was pierced deep into soil. Feluda took it out from the soil , and found there were marks of blood on the dagger. Feluda took the dagger and kept it in his pocket .
Feluda then , reached home , and met Mr.Roy's brother , Devitosh Sinha Roy , who was psychotic . Feluda had gone to meet him , to know about the 'Temple of Kailash' which was in the forest .
