                                                  अर्बुदमब्जं खर्वनिखर्वमहापद्ममश षङ्कवस्तस्मात्।।

                                                           जलधिश्चान्त्यं मध्यं परार्धमिति 

                                                                दशगुणोत्तरा: संज्ञा।

                                                   संख्याया: स्थानानां व्यवहारार्थं कृता: पूर्वै:।।

Discoveries of Bhaskarcharya :

 

1. Bhaskarcharya was the first person to discover that, any number divided by zero is infinity.
2. He  also discovered that any number added to infinity is infinity .   ( x + ∞ = ∞) .               

3. Bhaskaracharya introduced the Chakrawat or the Cyclic method to solve algebraic  equations.                            

4. Bhaskaracharya also calculated  the time taken by the Earth to orbit the Sun: 365.258756484 days .
5. Bhaskaracharya is famous for his books -: Sidhhant Shiromani , Leelavati,  Beejaganita  and  Surya Sidhhanta .
